The GK-10 is unique as that is can be disassembled for easy transport, but it offers the performance of a Standard sized scooter. More room, performance and comfort.

When considering a powered wheelchair or mobility scooter for travel or easy transport, customers have two options:

portable mobility equipment

Smaller Scooter or Powerchair:

These models can be disassembled into four or five pieces. Each component typically weighs between 20 to 40 lbs, making it much easier to lift and place into the trunk of a car. In most cases, no tools are required for disassembly. Upon reaching your destination, it will only take a few minutes to reassemble the mobility device.

Folding Scooter or Power Wheelchair:

The folding mechanism can be either mechanized, allowing the device to fold under its own power, or it can be operated using simple levers. However, it's important to note that a 120 lb scooter will still weigh the full 120 lbs when it needs to be lifted into a vehicle. Nonetheless, a folding scooter is more compact for storage or transportation compared to a regular mobility scooter or powered wheelchair.
